Jeff is an amazing Dad he’s raised two respectful, polite and overall amazing kids. The grief that Jade’s mom gives him is extremely unwarranted

Danny, I've been saying it for years. Have Loose Men regularly. Like the last two days of the week, Thursday and Friday afternoon. Men really need it. I have brothers, male friends and male colleagues who would really benefit from this programme. Men need to talk to each other more.

When my half Brother (Same Dad, different Mum) and my Grandmum from my Dad's side passed away 5 weeks apart in 2009, I went to go and spend some time with my Dad. I was 15 at the time living with my Mum. My Mum and Dad divorced in 1997. When I went to go and spend some time with my Dad, not once did He cry in front of me. I told Him if He needed to cry, He can cry. He told me that He needs to be strong for His Children and said He will cry when He is alone. Those words have stayed with me 15 years later. I now have 3 kids. I myself have never cried infront of them either.

@muzb2233 Condolences on your loss in both your father and your twin. I hope you don't mind me reaching out. Please try to reach out to your twin, people have different grief styles and you could both perhaps some counselling for grief together, it could also bring you closer and understanding comprehension from both your perspectives. I hope you can reconnect with your twin and they be open to it. Sometimes life is hitting us all hard. I wish you blessing and healing in your journey, grief and loss even for those that are still living is a painful and hard experience,so please be kind and gentle with your self, allowing space and time to grieve the way you need 🙏🏾

Men are often terrible at grieving. My son lost his best friend earlier this year, he tried to go to work the next day. Trying to get him to slow down and deal with it has been hard, he finally contacted a counselling service recently as he admitted he’s not been able to shut it out. This is 6 months later.

I think the reason is, is it is normalised and expected that women can and will talk about their emotions whereas there is still a stigma attached to men, doing the same, the old boys don't cry. We need to normalise the idea that it is just as okay and necessary for men to do the same and to reach out, and they will not lose their masculinity if they do so, everyone needs someone to talk to.

Yeah because you are around Him 24/7 and know Him personally. Always that 1 person on the internet who thinks they know it all and have the most to say. When my half Brother (Same Dad, different Mum) and my Nan from my Dad's side died 5 weeks apart in 2009, I spent sometime with my Dad. I was 15 at the time. Not once did my Dad cry in front of me during the time I spent with Him. Same with my Uncle when His Daughter my Cousin passed away in 2021. Not once did He cry in front of me either when I went to pay Him a visit. Majority of Men deal with grief completely different from Women. Majority of Men tend to bottle it up when around people.
