No one else could have played "The Dude" like Jeff did. He was just so perfect for that part. And in real life as himself-hes actually more like "the dude" than the real life guy the dude was based on 😆 Jeff is much more like the dude than that guy, and every bit as funny 🤣. The actress who played "Maude" in (the big Lebowski)-said she couldn't look Jeff in the eyes 👀 because he's so funny 🤣. She knew she'd burst out laughing if she did 🤣. Peter Falk was perfect for Columbo, and no one else could have played Columbo like Peter... and the same for Jeff playing "the dude"-not one else could have did that part like Jeff did...he was really just playing himself 😂. Which is great 😂👍

I preface following w/ admiration 4 his "Dude" role; imho, his Masterpiece role ws playing SFC architect, Max Klein, in Peter Weir's greatest film - 1993's "Fearless". Film, Weir, R. Perez and Jeff ALL shld hve won Oscars. Transcendent film/acting tht many fans/critics reference as most u-rated, o-looked by AAS's in lst 20 years. Weir ws so pissed off tht he took 5 yrs off frm dirctng. This Oscar, altho' richly deserved, should be 2nd in trophy case. So, way 2 go, MAX!!!
