Honestly I have to say The best way to not build up expectations coming out of spring is to close practice off to the press. I would hate it for the entire FSU media beat but there is a reason the best teams in the nation do not allow the media to practice.

Glad I wasn’t the only one that couldn’t stand that interview, ya know?

I took flack earlier by posting on Warchant (Ira and Corey’s) show, that Mike’s constant, distracting use of “ya know” was horrendous. Then Jeff came on later and discussed exactly that. I knew I couldn’t be the only one that thinks it makes Norvell look like a boob. Thanks Jeff and Tom!

I won’t listen to Norvell pressers due to his terrible public speaking abilities lol. I just wait for the Warchant synopsis on what he said.

@ Sorry, I don’t think a football coach has ever said anything deep. Especially Norvell, he usually just stands there and exegetes boiler plate rah rah talk with a ridiculous cadence that makes him sound like a moron.

You know Jeff, the you know topic is the last thing Mike should worry about. I would rather he worry about wins. You know that’s true.

Let’s get him enrolled in a local Toastmasters club in Tally! Did that years ago with work. Cheesy but it works.

I kept saying, "No, I don't know." with every ya know. Maybe he's channeling a Midwestern/Canadian dialect --- Don't ya know.

That also being said, at this time of year, and I would do the same thing, is look for anything to talk about, to have some content for your listeners.

That being said, 98 percent of the kids are never going to see a nfl field. And they know who they are. Now that they are getting paid just to be on the team, what is their incentive to give the extra effort, it’s not going to take them anywhere football wise. Thank you all u people who felt players should be paid, and it’s going to get worse. Watch how the nfl talent goes down hill.

That being said Jeff your like any other person who has a skill in a certain arena. For example a carpenter cannot see the buety in any build without seeing all the things he would have done different. Same with any field. Your thing because of your choice of career involves speech. Get used to the real world. When I hire a person to come and spray for insects, I could care less about his knowledge in any other field.
