Jeff Foster - 'Life Without A Centre' - Interview by Iain McNay
The simple and direct message of Life Without A Centre is this: 'There is only ever Oneness. And in Oneness, the dream of separation arises, the idea that you are a separate 'person in the world', with a heavy past and an uncertain future, somehow divided from everyone and everything else. And in this dream there can be great suffering, because to a separate person, life will never seem complete, and a longing for Home will pervade all action. What we are talking about here is the possibility of waking up from this dream. And it's an awakening that's simpler and gentler than you could ever imagine. This radical message lovingly allows all spiritual paths to have their place, whilst at the same time making them completely obsolete. And this may feel very threatening to a mind hooked on ideas of paths, processes and perfection. But in the presence of this revolutionary clarity, the endless seeking of the mind cannot last. And then, in the place of striving, suffering, and solidity, there is only ever lightness, love... and so much laughter. Some have called this 'spiritual awakening'. I call it Life Without A Centre.' What this man has said in this small group of videos is the greatest,simplest, and clearest summary of "nonduality". He seems to cover ALL of the conceptual pitfalls that appear within the mind. Yes, I agree he he :) What is will always be what is, but the mind is great at attaching us to focus. We live in times when everyone will be awake to the realization, that the story of separation was the mind. I find it great is that science now can prove that emotions effect reality through our dna. Also, that all atoms are 96% empty space & within the 4% is more empty space :P. The important part is your connecting with that amazing true state of being one with life without division from mind.

When he talks about the words coming out of his mouth and he's just watching it, makes me think about Esther Hicks and Abraham. She says the same. She says it's not a channeling... she named this "speaker" as Abraham, but not cause it's a spirit or something like that. It's somehow the word of the Universe.... the words of her inner-being that is connected with everything... therefore it's all.

To me it sounds dissonant when he talks about no one being there. I think life happens by itself and the believe that to chose this or that will lead to a different place it's an illusion. I think there is a cosmic order/movement that most of us can't perceive, so we fight to control the results. But... to recognize me as individual doesn't necessarily excludes the perception of being integrated to all. --->

The only meaning to life is the one you give it & if their is a "you", that means the mind is conceptually holding onto that concept. Their is always only what is. Even if your mind says something else, existence will always be existing, how you define it means nothing for truly understanding it. As as the question, their wouldn't be a concept of "I/Self" to sustain it, unless you held onto that concept. We can can observe thoughts from the brain, without needing to attach with them, less story.

@lennyd77 Not quite. Tolle still acknowledges a dualism between source and the form. He said so in his book. Jeff is pure oneness, true nondualism, an authentic mystic. Less than that is a pseudo-mystic like Chopra, Tolle, and many others.

I just don't get why Tolle's group behind him wants to get rich while the rest of us stay poor. If enlightenment is not adding anything to us, then why add debt (paying thousands to Eckhart's partners pockets) to just hear the message that we supposedly already know inside? Weird.

Tolle is not an authentic mystic in the traditional or classical sense. Tolle is just another New Age teacher who cashes in on peddling a "be financially wealthy" or prosperity message in the guise of a spiritual teaching. That's how New Age teachers and leaders milk their followers, by preaching enlightenment to obtain material rewards as a goal. The two don't mix. It's a financial racket that seeks to exploit naive people in search of authentic spirituality.
