I can’t imagine that first film without Jeff’s character. His performance and delivery in any film or TV show are always quirky and unique. The line from that film I’ll always remember was his. “We were so busy wondering if we COULD do it we didn’t think about if we SHOULD.” That summed up the entire scientific process of what they had done.

That character was kind of the linchpin of the novel's premise. Read: does the heavy lifting of ethically problematic exposition. But he died. I kind of remember his dying in the first movie, too. I loved goldblum's part in original movie. And I want to see this 1 just bc the nostalgia bc I'm 35 and jurassic park was AMAZING 👏 AS a kid I loved it. And now my kids love it. The original is the BEST 👌 and the Elvis movie looks good too. I didn't grow up with Elvis but he had an interesting life. Amazing how moving his hips was SHOCKING back then 😆
