For low volume jazz, I love the old Regal 7A nylon tip sticks. They have great feel/response; I prefer those slim shoulder sticks for this. But the brushes? Jeff’s brushes are the best. I’ve played so many over the years, including Vic Firth nylon and others. None compare to these.
