me too, at first i was listening to dream theater but it didnt got me in the 7 strings yet , i rememeber saying like naaah doesnt sound that much better than six, but with nevermore i was blown away but the depth of the sound and the fact that they really highlighted the fact that is a 7 strings

I absolutely agree, I do hear something a little more gridy with the Jackson's over the schecters though. Even though I love the loomis schecters, I can hear a more raw tone when he plays the Jackson's. Maybe more transparency? Idk. But he's definitely got his attack and ear down!

I think the gritty guitar tone in this video has more to do with the amp. A Dr. Z I think. Not exactly a high gain amp.

What are you guys going on about? Jeff and Michael both work on riffs and solos. Micheak when said in an interview that they exchange riff ideas. Also, arch enemy isn't Jeff Loomis. It's arch enemy. It's a business. And if you produce for that business you want to produce the style they're known for. If Micheal gave Loomis free reign then arch enemy would become a second nevermore. You guys are incredibly irritating.

I was seeing you with Nevermore on the 11th of March 2011 in Munich. Because of your unique and excellent guitar style it was one of the best live performances I ever saw. Your guitar playing accompanied my life now than for more than 1,5 decades and i honestly hope you get the chance to show this style again, because it is one of the best in existence.

That solo has such a great feel where I’m falling & falling, then my wings spread as I hover over the river dragon seeing its destructive path from an intimate aerial view. I never learned all the rhythm parts to this song & of course not the solo but I have made it up to the solo.😜 the intro is so cool. Very creative brother. Grateful I met you years back with Keith in Mesa AZ on your Conquering Dystopia tour. Thank you for all the amazing music brother. Cheers man 🍻
