I think it's OK for people to give recognition to him if done respectfully. He is one of the most talented musicians ever and time has been unfair with him. He never had the recognition he deserved, while other mediocre artist can't even go out to the streets. So, in a way, it's good that still some people make him feel they appreciate the music he has given to us.

You’re right. Sadly, he just died last week. There’s also his personal assistant/friend Phil Hatton, his manager Craig Fruin, and his now wife Camelia Kath.
