I was a late 80's baby, but ELO is by far for me favorite band. There is and never will be anyone comparable to them. A perfect mixture of classic rock, electric and classical. I truthfully believe they were ahead of their time, even though it was before mine.

I first heard this one on my car radio a couple o days ago. I first thought i was Paul declaring his lost and loving for John. This thought brought tears to my eyes and the the song really caught a grip on me.. I was crying when the radio announcer said it was Jeff Lynne from his latest record. It doesn't diminish the experience the least. This is a absolutely beautiful song. And admit Jeff and Paul have similar voices and this is a hit Paul could have written. Nevertheless this is brilliant and I hope Jeff Lynne keeps on writing and producing divine music like this. Love on Jeff!

Fantastic! NEW ELO music! I almost can't believe it. It's recognizable, but new and different. Very, very nice. Ironically, this probably wouldn't get airplay on any broadcast stations, but now with the interwebs, Vevo, KZbin, Web Radio, Jeff can make great music and get it out to us without having to satisfy some record exec.

Really if this is the best song on the the album sad. Jeff hasn't written a song in the last 20 years that would stand up to any of his early songs with the group ELO. And here lies the problem yes he was a great songwriter once a upon with an amazing group of musicians behind him. paul holmes I 100% agree with everything you just said. When he did armchair theatre he had a band behind him the album was really good. But now all the songs sound the same and he is only a part drummer nothing like bev bevan. All my love is a old song that was never released until now.
