This is also Jeff talking about the icky dichotomy he feels playing his anti-establishment music at festivals that are sponsored by banks, clothing companies, mega-retailers, chain restaurants, etc. and the unfurling of the effects of those corporate sponsors on our everyday lives. He’s saying all these corporate sponsors wouldn’t give a shit about him or his music if it wasn’t making a buck for them by him playing at the shows they’re sponsoring. Friendly to his face when it makes them money and then right back to fucking us all in the real world once the show is over.

This song was my pick. I’m glad you like it. I was anticipating this album so much back in 2016 and if you bought this presidential style yard sign that said “worry”, the name of the album, you got an early download code for this song. His previous album, We Cool was my favorite modern punk album, and then this album replaced it and Worry remains my favorite punk album period probably

Worry. is one of the best punk albums of all time in my opinion, not just modern punk album. His writing, energy, timing, all of it is just incredible. This album has to be up there as one of my favourites.

I love how Chuck is getting into it with this one! Sometimes you’re very stoic when listening to music but you were head banging along with this jam! Nice to see. Joel you’re 100% right about the duality of the song! Hard to choose on this one but I gotta say Chucks head banging made me laugh out loud so cell to Chuckles!
