There was a year Dame got snubbed with basically that exact stat line, better efficiency and more wins than LaMelo with honestly a worse roster. Can’t keep changing the standard. There’s about 100 guys in the NBA who could put up 28 and 7 if they just got to shoot the ball whenever they wanted.

I’m sure it was other players that qualified but he still got voted in cuz it’s Vince Carter he’s an exciting player to watch . history has proven it’s not always about the record of the team but the hype of the player that year. Cade shoots way more open shots and doesn’t see near the same coverage lamelo sees because cade had teammates that can score the ball. Lamelo is a pass first point whose teammates who are not named B mill and Miles bridges can’t score off of.
