Clyde Drexler was the best Trailblazer career-wise. More playoffs and deeper in the playoffs, 2 finals with PDX, more all-star games, went toe-to-toe with MJ for years until MJ pulled ahead with the first three-peat. Was a major factor in Houston's second championship. Insane athlete. Dame was amazing and 3pt shot got him more ppg, but Clyde was the best overall.

Ain’t no way Westbrook can be considered the best Sonic when no one remembers him playing for that specific team (even if they were still the same org technically). Hard for young people to remember Weber played for the Wizards since they were called the Bullets but it’s at least an easier comparison to understand since it is just the team name changing. In Oscars case (like Westbrook/gp doscussion) not only were the team names different but the city/state they played in were different. Once you change your whole identity you can’t really be the same franchise. At least teams in the MLB like the Giants and Dodgers kept their name after changing states. You basically preserve a little history for the fans by keeping the same name or staying in the same state. If the New York Yankees became the New Jersey Smashers tomorrow I’d close the book on the Yankees history and become a new team as all my roots are gone. I not only took on a new identity but changed my appearance.

For the Blazers it's Bill Walton and it's not close. He accomplished in 5 years what neither Drexler and Lillard couldn't accomplish in a decade. MVP, Finals MVP, their only championship, and one of the most beautiful teams to watch for two years. Blazermania was a real thing in the Pacific Northwest. That one championship sustained that city through 30 years. That matters. It's Bill Walton.
