Back in the 70s and 80s even though most of the time I ran 12.0s it was never consistent and I was never good at it so Allison in my eyes your doing awesome never give give up. I guess we can say Jeff knows his car ! As someone else said, bracket racing can be tricky. I did it back in the 70's myself. The old red-eye was a bummer in the final, but it happens to everyone eventually. So you see Allison, don't beat yourself up, it just happens when you're talking being hundredths of a second off. Still really cool all your families out there racing together. Keep diggin' !!

People rag on bracket racing because it's not as exciting as heads up. That and maybe don't fully understand what's going on. So maybe a little mild for a spectator that just want to see heads up. But man bracket racing is tough. Probably one of the hardest forms of drag racing. And it reduces the chance of hurting the car. And not to mention it's hella fun for the drivers and takes an extreme amount of skill. I think I'm going to build myself a bracket car. I don't want to spend a lot of money blowing sh:t up and I feel like I'm totally missing out. Great job guys.

Tough racing. I remember the "Boss-a-Nova" he has been running that bowtie for a long time. Does any of your followers remember the "Cobra Venom" 69 Mach 1, with 428cj power? It was a white car. Remember the "Iron Horse" pinto with tube chassis and 428cj power also. At Norwalk back in the day there was a truly ugly GTX that humbled a lot of prettier cars. The most consistent car any night the old guy that owned it was there racing. Allison is getting better all the time. If you don't "red light" from time to time your not trying hard enough to cut a great light. Go fast and be safe. God bless you and your family and friends.
