Agree. One of the things that YG does well is to manage the choreos such that their idols have enough time to breathe & sing well, even though we KNOww they can do harder choreos, which is why they often sound really good & consistent live.

Bingo!!! I have been saying this for awhile. Unlike other companies, YG knows that the singing comes first and the dancing is 2nd. They have done it with several of their groups. People have often criticized that YG's choreo is simple.... but they want to provide the best performance. and they focus on singing!!! Compare Blackpink's Coachella to Le Sserafim's Coachella. Simple, easier to follow choreo and better vocal performance while the latter group wasted so much energy with their dancing that they could barely sing!!!!

I had the same reaction as you when Sheesh first dropped. Like, I went crazy because it's vocals after vocals after vocals again, it's insane! The way I had goosebumps all throughout the song and even now, everytime I listen to it. YG really scored big with these talents. Babymonster is undeniably one of the best kpop girl groups of this generation

I think with Ahyeon being out they pushed their plans back with Sheesh because it wasn’t complete without all 7. I knew when they released “Batter up” it’s a good song but Sheesh screams BM is here!!! These girls are already slaying and they have just debuted. They set the bars so high for talent and live performances. The best 5th gen group by far. YG knows how to train megastars and pick up the best of the best. Love your reaction so relatable. 😊 ART at it’s finest.

The intro and the chorus is choreographed by Bada Lee btw. They actually released the demo version and tbh, it's actually not that hard of a choreo. It's something the girls can definitely do so I kinda wished YG kept some more of the demo choreo but then I also understand why they changed it up a bit to cater to the heavy vocals of the song esp because they always sing live. They even performed with handmics in a music show and performed with live band. Btw, Treasure came back with a new single 'King Kong' so hoping you can make time to react to it. What they removed from the song was Chiquita's rap since they change the second verse with the rap. I can't wait to see your reaction to LIKE THAT since they did put out an EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO and DANCE VIDEO. The diversity of what they can do. Also, they did SHEESH on IT'S LIVE and their final promotion performance on INKIGAYO was amazing. They did it with a live band and hand held mics and really set the standard of the live performances on music shows should be.

kinda just wanna gloss this over since a lot of reactors get this wrong: Batter Up and Stuck in The Middle were *pre-releases*. SHEESH is their *official debut song*, it's not a comeback. according to YG's statements and promos, SHEESH is marketed and promoted as their official debut. their official debut date as a group is the date SHEESH was released.

We know they can get down with the dances but Beamon is centered in their vocal talent so the dances are so they aren’t over exerting themselves and tanking the vocals. The opposite of that would be the choreography for Illit song Magnetic. It is crazy fast and big so I can imagine that live vocals weren’t taken into consideration when they were given that choreography. I would be exhausted trying that

The movements in LIKE THAT is also clean and smooth but, from my judgement, sharpness and strength played it's part here very well and maybe overlooked by fans. Be cautious, they gonna spin your head so hard in Like That song. 😁🥰 You've explained for SHEESH that choreographs difficulty were level down on purpose and that's true.
