Yo! Thank you so much for this! In the late 80s, Jeff Pang was my idol. After Gonz and Hosoi, it was Jeff Pang! Even more than them, because he was more accessible. I wanted to be him so bad! I tried to dress how he dressed, skate how he skated. I was just another grommet to him, you could see it in his face whenever he saw me, but I didn't care. This was way before Kids and Zoo York, back when Jeff rode Geek Attack; back when the NY scene was nothing outside the Tri-State. I remember when that shot of the japan grab at the WTC in the thumbnail came out. I had moved to SD in 89, and used to skate with the whole H-Street clique. When I saw the pic, I felt like we had finally made it. It went up on my wall immediately!
