I hear ya! I was born in 61 at the tail end of great music easily found everywhere on the radio. The good part, though, is that today there's a million more outlets for finding not only worthwhile contemporary bands but anything/everything from the past that you would care to hear. FREE! So it's good news, really (or at least could be worse)

Just one of THE great performance's of a song ever, period. How in command of their sh*t were these cats. Phew!

Who would have ever thought you could pull a 20+ minute jam out of "Wooden Ships" and not only that make it really rock. This is a classic version of the song. Also, who would have thought that less than 24 hours later they would hear another version of this song as interpreted by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Ironically, when it appeared on the first CSN album Kantner didn't get a writing credit even though he wrote the majority of the song.

David Crosby talked about Paul not being mentioned at the beginning. it was because the airplane had a very bad manager at the time who wouldn't let their names appear on other bands albums or something like that. he's been added later on
