I was the only hispanic in my high schools Marching Band. I could not ever slip or be lazy when performing because i was so noticeable. And it was a constant thing to show that i could move just like everyone else. So when it was performance time i showed out and Represent. 🤵‍♀️

There are very few whites in the school. He worked tirelessly choreographing routine and with the coach because he wanted to be a drum major. He had to audition just the the other students. They are all very good friends. Google Jefferson Davis drum major and you will find his story. On you tube search for Vanilla Funk and you will find his story also.
