You all were excellent! The sound was clear, the drumline killed it and as always the drum majors showed up and showed out. That flip was awesome!🕺🏽Mr. Howard is doing a great job with the young people!⚘😊

They are so on-point. Justin is just on a whole different level. I cannot believe these are high school youth.

If anyone wants to see what Justin has been up to, he’s attending Alabama State, a HBCU. And he’s still a drum major with the ASU Marching Hornets. They have tons of videos on here!

He is way too good for them. They have put a harness on that boys energy
@ValeriePallaoro3 ай бұрын
@@catiecatherine9978 Presumably he's focussing on his study as well. I just saw a great video on his teaching technique for trumpet, and that was an eye-opener. He's very inclusive and a great teacher. Even I could learn the trumpet from him.

Oh my goodness. There is my favorite drum major, sweet Justin Vanilla Funk. I didn’t know the JD Marching Band was on this show. They’re awesome. Love them all. ❤ I don’t know why, but this made me cry. And the band director explaining about what goes on. I’m glad these wonderful young people have the band and each other to love.Sending lots of Aloha from Honolulu to all the beautiful people in Alabama. ❤️🌺 Love you all.💜

In the 80’s that was the top high school in the south east. I graduated there in 83. We had almost 900 grads. The school was a top sports team with everyone focused on academics and sports. We were the envy of every school in the state.

How is that a shame my 3rd great grandfather was a great man unlike those racist tyrants up north use the argument he had slaves all you want he had a black wife son and he treated his slaves better than himself you where taught a bunch of lies blue belly the north wanted the slave trade witch was very horrible and it was torture the south banned it you dont know nothin except shit

This finally changed in 2022. "In a 5-2 vote, the board approved renaming Jefferson Davis High School to Dr. Percy Julian High School and Robert E. Lee High School to JAG High School, after the first initial of the last names of civil rights activists Judge Frank Johnson, Ralph Abernathy and Robert Graetz."

They def should have never brought that much of the band and they certainly should have worked more on collaborating a far better dance performance, to be perfectly honest that was basic at best. If we are being authentic and raw here then understand this is AGT, for crying out loud! This is not a street performance nor a parade or football game they are performing at. This was most likely their only chance of getting put on any platform of this magnitude and they blew it! Like the hype with their entrance that was the highlight of this performance.
