Grace Slick is almost 81 years old, Paul Kantner and Marty Balin are dead. Jorma and Cassady are still around and maybe a few others but they dont want to participate. On one hand I dislike the idea of this cover band, but on the other hand they are keeping the music alive and have good musicianship and are putting their heart and soul into it.

@@marklovett9128 well said, moreover they have Donny Baldwin on drums ( was Starships drummer throughout their Heyday in the 80s) as well as David Freiberg ( part of Starship sonce 1972) on Stage. He'll thats about all you could expect at this point, perhaps another in similar standing, but nothing more. I think it's a standard the jerk reaction for people to say when they don't see a full band together. And forget members arent even withbus or too old to carry on... Good for them keeping the music alive. And do one more thing, Paul kantner wanted David to carry on the Legacy and gave him the rights before he passed

@@mick2spic No harm. She sounds good. Sadly, none of those musicians were ever a part of the original Jefferson Airplane or Jefferson Starship. David Frieberg, far stage right, joined Jefferson Airplane in 1972 as a fill-in for Marty Balin singing harmonies and playing tambourine. He's actually a really nice guy! He's the only one even remotely tied to the original band.

That's Cathy Richardson, not Grace Slick. In fact, she's like 30 years younger than Slick but there's definite vocal similarity and from far away even a visual similarity. If someone told you this was woman was Slick's daughter and you'd never seen China Slick, it'd be credible claim IMO.

When Paul Kantner died they should have just hung it up. Well, David Frieberg was the bass player for Jefferson Starship (and Quicksilver Messenger Service before that) so it does have an iota of authenticity. Still should have just forgot about it when Kantner died. Bills got to be paid though so on they go. Couldn't have made much as the David Freiberg Band. "Who?"
