I was just there Thursday. It reminds me of Louisiana there. The general candy store. That Caddo restaurant, no it was horrible.

My great great grandfather worked on laying the brick streets in Jefferson back in the 1800's.

That Catholic Church was rebuilt. The original building caught fire in 93, I believe. I was 10 years old then, and it was quite devastating to the community. My dad was the pastor at FBC Jefferson then. My brother and I have so many memories of Jefferson. It is a great town.

You mentioned Jefferson being near Southern Louisiana. You meant to say close to the west Louisiana border. Definitely not south. About 40 minutes west of Jefferson off of I-30 from the Horse Shoe Bossier city Casino.
