Great video! Thanks. My husband and I were married in Jefferson in 1980 and stayed at the Excelsior. After our wedding, we went to the local Dairy Freeze and ate hamburgers. We love Jefferson so much and love how it has evolved through the years. Fun fact: after we returned to the Excelsior after being married in the Baptist preacher’s office, word had already gotten around and the hostess at the hotel knew we had just been married and showed us such sweet hospitality for a newly married couple.

❤ I love burgers and learned fire them up from my Uncle Don Waggoner R.I.P his blessed soul. Texas Born and was one of the most famous defence lawers in flordia and he always laughed and smiled. Thank you for making my bucket list even more worthwhile to visit his home town in Texas and stop by your way. He was the guy who made me appriciate hidden gems🎉🎉❤❤❤

Wow, I have got to get back to Jefferson for that Big Foot Texan.......I love a good chili cheese burger. I was appointed to Daingerfield FUMC for five years and my wife and I traveled to Jefferson many times for the BBQ and fries at Riverport Diner (i think it was called). Jefferson was our go to place for food. I once drove over there for the fries alone...lol.
