I had just turned 4 too! I was with moms, she brought me to see it and I remember that memory vividly. I laughed so hard in this movie, it made Pryor a comedic goat in my eyes. He just created an entire world for kids with this movie. Who wouldn’t have wanted him as a friend.

Its interesting, if I didnt know better and someone told me this was sung by Lionel Richie, I would’ve believed it. There are a few similarities between Jeffery and Lionel with regard to the pitch and timbre of the voice heard here. At least to my ears.
