Hey Jeff! Your videos have been great help and even Google Recruiters suggest that we should refer to your content, specially for GCA. I'm not sure if you already know. 😅 So, I'm currently interviewing for the Google Cloud TAM role and have a GCA interview in 7 days. Would you be able to suggest some examples that I should direct my preparation towards? (situational or behavioural or any other category, if there is). Also, how many questions should I generally expect in the GCA interview?

Hello Jeff Your videos are amazing for prep. I will be interviewing with Google for Data Analyst Apprentice role in India. I am wondering what type of questions will be asked in GCA round. I have been told both will be non technical interviews next. How should I prepare? Thanks a lot.

@ishikadalal9891, Apprenticeship roles typically include more behavioral questions, so make sure to prepare great examples, this is overall advice. Be ready to talk through and problem solve how you would analyze data (hypothetical questions). GCA interviews most commonly are a random hypothetical question, a role-related hypothetical question, and one behavioral question, but be ready for anything. Good luck!

Just want to know that the GCA follow up question would be too technical for behavioral round?

@preksha210, I am not sure what you are asking, these example Q&A's would definitely be considered strong answers, but remember all GCA interviews will have follow up questions.

@preksha210, GCA follow up questions don't tend to be technical. In a GCA interview you can get hypothetical or behavioral questions, but they definitely lean hypothetical. Typically, 2 hypothetical, 1 behavioral question, all with follow up questions, good luck!!

Hi Jeff, I am interviewing for a Data Center Facilities Technician role. Do you know if GCA questions are asked in the interviews for this role? I've heard they aren't asked in engineering role interviews so am wondering if they are or aren't for the Facilites Technician role also. Thank you very much for all your videos. @nipnan8417, great question! It is highly likely that you will have a GCA interview for this role. Please double check with your Recruiter, Software Engineers do not have GCA interviews, but your role is not on the engineering ladder. Good luck!!

Hi Jeff, Hoping you are doing well. Recently I received an interview call from the HR, INDIA for the role of Engineering Analyst (Abuse and Fraud) role. Moreover, I am a not tech person and I am nervous too, I dont know what type of question they will ask in GCA, Leadership and googleyness?

@RahulKumar-um7zu, many Analyst roles will be more business than technical focused, although the title Engineering Analyst does imply some technical knowledge, you will want to chat with your Recruiter about the technical depth needed for this role. GCA interview, most common is one random hypothetical question, one more role-related hypothetical question, and one broad behavioral question. The G&L interview is all about decision making, inclusivity, and collaboration. Good luck!!

Are you waiting for them to answer the question before you ask the next question?

@atdawn1783, great question! So you are really adapting to their personality type, if they don't answer your first question, start grouping questions together. If they do answer your first question, pause after the second question. Really we just need to pick up on their responsiveness and body language and adjust accordingly. I hope this helps!
