Jaw position does not control the air speed.

@@BrassBro-Science-ys7sg Correct. However, my point is that the jaw position, which can affect your teeth gap, in conjunction with other components, such as tongue level and air compression etc, will have an effect on how you play. Whether that is better or not, is up to you.
