Klaus M was still recovering from spinal surgery. I flew from Texas to Vegas just for this concert. They were awesome as always. Even with limited movement from Klaus it was an amazing show.

Damn they still sound good. I saw them for the first time back in 1988 in LA at the Sports Arena. It was the Savage Amusement tour and I was blown away. They don't move around as much but they still got it. I can't believe these guys are 75 years old. See while you can. You won't regret it. This is one of my favorite songs from them along with Lady Starlight and so many more.

You saw them before I was even born (1993) and yet they continue impressing and influencing people. James Kottak (When he was with them) was a big reason I started drumming. And when I switched from drums in high school to guitar full time in college bet you can guess one of the bands that influenced that. I’ve seen them three times now including at this exact show where I took my 24 YO business partner with me. Mexican born guy who grew up on rap and traditional Mexican music. The closest he had heard to this was Mana. He described it the best I’ve ever heard it. “They have the sound of a modern band, but the experience of an old time band to make the sound something cool”. When we left he left with more merch than I did and now when ever we’re in his truck on the road for stuff he asks me to show him new stuff because if I liked these guys I must know other bands. Good guy who’s growing a love for the classics. Don’t worry my friend the love never dies and is still showing in new generations for the greats just like this
