Both replies are dumb. Both players are great. Uli is more advanced overall, but Mathias was a perfect fit for the 80`s and where rock was at. The solos in this song are among his best and most challenging IMO.

There is so much going on in this song, it's incredible. The solo guitar licks in the background overlayed on the lyrics, the incredible chorus, and probably the best rhythm guitar of any band. Such a complete band. Klaus Meine has vocals that were sustained for half a century!

I always admired their rythym guitar. If you listen, the guitar is always playing a melodic line behind the vocals. Not many rock bands did (or could do this.) The only other player I can think of who paid that much attention to being musical is George Lynch. I might be wrong.

Not underrated, I heard it on the Radio in India. Scorpions' almost have 100% songs are fine, so some are obviously unnoticed, but not underrated. In western music history, there will be never be another beatles, scorpions, van halen, whitesnake ever, which was single handedly destroyed by Kurt Cobain.
