Enjoyed the jokes about not training hard enough. Wanted to comment on that just to those who are still skeptical on Jeff’s training methods especially in terms of how hard we should train. I never cared for tracking RPE I just trained hard and more often then not to failure. My physique was not bad but my strength was my concern. I was also tired of burning out and being fatigued most days. I implemented a lot of Jeff’s science based strategies that are not to necessarily just to conserve energy trust me I still work my butt off but using the literature we have today to know at what point is pushing harder not only not gonna make gains but even kill your gains. So long story short, I have implemented Jeff’s science based lifting and have seen huge improvement especially in strength but also muscle development.
