So next time try this: Clean up and prepare the soil. Get the soil wet first (add 1/4 cup of urine to the water per gal.) then burn some sage around the area to ward off bad spirits and weeds. Do the planting. Play some classical music for the seeds when watering; they prefer strings. Follow the course and you will have lushness in 2-3 wks.

I used the hydro mousse 2 weeks ago. I'm not impressed, but did order 3 refill kits to try again. It's hot in Las Vegas. That and my poor soil, figured I had to try again. There are areas in my yard that do have fresh grass growing. Somewhat suspicious as the yard did have grass at one time.

The mousse didn't "mousse" in mine. I ended up sprinkling the seed by hand. Very disappointed in the overpriced watering can.

Another channel did hydro on one side of his shed, reg seed on other side. Reg seed came in a lot better. Hydro did grow but not as well as reg seed.

I recently used regular seed and straw, I had grass in a couple of weeks. I wish I would have filmed it. It did an amazing job.

Nice video. I'd say it would have been a better experiment had you used a control in the middle with just regular old grass seed. That way we'd have seen how well both of those products do in comparison to normal seed.

I - just tonight- tried the Grotrax. Wow does the backing ever turn to immediate mush with water! . And if a shoe is damp and you step on it prior to wetting it, you won't get it off your foot without ruining that section. Kind of wonder if it really has to be *that* aggressively compounded.

I'm so glad you did this video. I've ordered the Hydro Mousse to use on some bare spots on my lawn. I'm not sure if it comes with seeds or not, because it didn't mention it in the ad. It comes with 5 bottles of green liquid, so I hope I can figure it out. I certainly didn't know about the steps to take before and after using it, so I appreciate that you explained all that in this video. I hope I get grass as nice as what you got using this product.

I am ready to apply to apply the HM. I have prepared the area better than you did. I have read the instructions and watched the video and it doesn't say anything about rolling or tamping. Your results from tamping sounds more promising so I think I will tamp.

I just watched the growtrax video which was suggested Right after your review, and they show an example, that looks like yours, as the 'too much water' example... Not saying for sure, but check it, i think you'd agree. Either way, fun and interesting as alway!!!!

I dont understand how : it will grow on concrete- beautifully, by not that great on a lawn ? After reading MANY reviews on MANY sites, the bottom line comes to : JUST SEED.... If you have to till, dig and prep the area- but not the concrete ( ???) Why bother ? Concrete ?? How's that work ? No really..??

I bought the hydro mouse. When i went to fill uo the container with water. It said to turn the dial off. I turned my hose on and a little while later. My hose blew up. Can you tell me how to put the water into the container? I finally had to add the water in my kitchen sink. I got green all over my clothes and skin. But then i sprayed it on my lawn. Please respond

I used GROTRAX. I live in high desert Nevada. What a DISASTER! It wouldn't stay wet enough in April, even though I watered 3xday. The first wind that came up above 10mph, it started to come apart and blow away! Most of it didn't dissolve, even though initially the first two days I sprayed water on it like in the video. Don't use it.

I tried Hydromousse, after 3 weeks of barely any grass, I got a refund, I roughened up the soil, added scot top lawn soil and put down Pennington Kentucky blue grass with excellent results

Since it was a windy day, I had to wet it down so it wouldn't blow away. On a non windy day I would roll it out at once and then spray. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

I used that hydro mouse like, 200$ worth of it. Ended up having to replant in fall with normal seed. That stuff is big gimmick

Hey Jeff. First of all GO BILLS!... I'm about to use the Hydromousse soon. I say soon because I didn't realize that they short changed me on the grass seeds. So that is my question can I use whatever grass seeds I want, with the Hydro product? Also thank for the tap down technique, your the first person to mention that. We've never received any results putting out grass seed. I've gone through 3 or 4 bags of grass seed that never sprouted. The pigeons around here were fat though. 🙄 Second I forked out $300 to a company called TruGreen who came out every couple weeks and sprayed weed killer, fertilizer, nitrogen and other chemicals. They over seeded the entire lawn, promising to fill in the bare spots. There was no change to the lawn at all. Just a waste of money. Yesterday Amazon delivered the Hydro Mousse and I'm checking videos to see what the most promising uses and application are. For 5 years I've fought this sod and no matter what I've done nothing has worked. I lived in Virginia where they sprayed a green covering on the sides of the highway and in the medium. The prettiest green grass I've ever seen grew there. I am hoping that this grass spray will do the same thing.

@@Jeffreviews4u Right, growing grass shouldn't take any effort other then keeping it wet until it sprouts, but even now, good seed is coated to hold in water, so you don't even have to water everyday, plus I get the suspicion there was weed seed in with that grass seed..
