I swear I tried to hate Negan in his first episodes. Really, I tried. I loved Glenn and was devastated that he died. But Negan was just too funny and charismatic, that eventually, I was like, "I can't do it. I love him!" Now, he's my favorite character!

Perfect casting for an incredible character that only gets better. Even in the season where he was introduced, which I felt was the most jumbled season, thanks to the show runner at the time... he constantly is a stand out in every scene. Even being a villainous character he was never one dimensional or hell even two dimensional. This dude is a fully formed, adapting, evolving, thinking and thinking character with so much depth. Making his gruesome acts of violence and moments of true compassion or righteousness all make sense to the character. Part of that goes towards the excellent writing for the character, but most props goes to JDM who continually raises the bar. I hope he sticks around for a little longer, he’s earned it

Dr. Gamelove I don’t think AMC really worries about ratings at this point. They have said they started amc premiere because they know viewership for shows in general has gone down due to streaming services. Plus if they were that worried, I doubt they’d be doing all these spinoffs and movies for the show

Koby Pourciaux maybe so. I think they are still doing he movies and such because walking dead is still relatively big. But it’s no question it’s not half as big as it used to be. They may not care as much but at no point would they decline to have all those viewers back. I’ll admit I watch solely because I’ve been there since the premier, but it’s more out of loyalty than enjoyment now. Some episodes are alright, occasionally there’s a really good one and about half are ‘meh’ to me.

What's the most ironic is that they claim to have stopped watching the show, AND YET SOMEHOW, they can't help but always find their way to TWD videos on KZbin. Maybe its just me, but when I lose interest in something I don't search for it. I mean think about it, out of all of the videos on this website, why would someone choose to look up stuff they claim to hate or lost interest in? Say more about them than the show.

Koby Pourciaux nah the show got back on track during season 9 its on par with season 5 and I personally put it in my top 3 seasons of all time and I’ve been watching since the pilot. With that being said seasons 7 and the first half of season 8 are hard to watch.

If season seven's premier wasn't as brutal as it was, nobody would care nearly as much about Negan as they do now. The brutality he displayed that episode is forever etched into everyone's mind and because of that, they still have an emotional connection. It was brilliant and necessarily raw and violent. people need to get over themselves.

That scene of Negan in the cell must be after Lydia came up to him when he was picking tomatoes and told her to "Watch your back" (from the trailer of season 10). He see's that the same fear and paranoia that was around during the Saviors reign is back now that people are getting attacked by the Whisperers. I really hope Negan goes on the "A Call to Arms" arc in the comic books but in the show it ends with him coming back to Alexandria and rolls Alpha's head through the front gate, having it stop a Michonne's feet and have Negan yell "Strike!"

I don't understand why people hate this character being on the show. Jeffrey is literally the only guy with a character that has charisma. And he has a lot of it! I absolutely love his scenes. It's like watching a great professional wrestler. If they are good at promos then they never even have to set foot in the ring. Negan literally never has to fight, he's an awesome talker!
