They could race SX if they wanted to and I’m certain Decoster would much rather have all Europeans on his squad again. But you gotta get through a badass field of racers and THEN beat the likes Tomac or Webb on a consistent basis. Roczen was probably the fastest most technical rider over the beginning of his sx career but self inflicted crashes and bad decision making on track lead to injuries that will likely keep him from winning an Sx 450 title, even if he went back to Ktm. SX isn’t MX by a long shot.

Yep, Toni's getting 35 and he got 89 GP wins. Jeffrey's 25 and got 88 wins, even with being injured half of the time. Who is the best rider ever? In this vid it was ALWAYS Herlings comming from behing to pass TC to be in front in the end. That guy is on another level.

WD840 MX Highlights I still think the European tracks are more difficult than majority of national USA tracks. But sand, loam or hard packed has its own devil but the MXoN seems to be constantly on faster tracks where the US tracks in a lot of circumstances are switch backs & more short throttle bursts but technical. MXGP is a lot of hangin off the back fender throttle wide open which would suit Tomac like you mentioned because he is a foot up wide open type of rider for sure

Carmichael vs. Stewart, Herlings vs. Cairoli, Rossi vs. Marquez, Bagnaia vs. Martin. There is nothing like hard core competition to elevate racing to a mind blowing, exciting level. And this is why I feel that, when racers dominate (Schumacher, Vettel, Hamilton, and now Verstappen), the sport gets utterly boring.

Let him ride SX in the States for a season and he'll be humbled rather quickly. Its annoying when a rider thinks he's the greatest and talks about it constantly. Look at RC best of all time in MX and SX and a super chill and humble dude. I thought it was fitting when Herlings tanked it at the MXON last year. Go out and thrash everyone on track and be chill about it, more people will respect you imo. That's just my shitty .02 worth tho.
