This is the first time I heard Penn say this kind of stuff. He always use puns, codes, and sometime come straightforward about each tricks that come on the show. But I had never seen Penn refused to utter a words about any trick in the past, just so he can protect this piece of magic from everyone. Jeffery Wang may not fool them but he got the biggest compliment anyone could ever ask for.

From Cards trick, to ring, sponge balls, mentetlism, etc etc etc. He explained how magicians think when we see somethings that we don't know how it done, and usually, we will find out. He utter NOTHING about this trick. That never happened.

This is another one of those great acts that is doomed to never fool P&T because it uses certain moves. Frankly, most of the best performances on the show -- such is this gem -- fall into this category. But, of course, the show is "Fool Us", so hey. Congratulations on a wonderful act!

As Penn has said many times, "Fool Us" is just the gimmick that gets them a TV show. The real purpose is getting on great acts, fooler or not.

All you have to do to fool Penn and Teller is to just bring a new unique prop to the show. This isn't about fooling it's about showing off amazing magical skills. And any skillful magician going on that show is going to know that. Jeffrey Wang is amazing and I hope he does well and succeeds. Wonderful set.

@@alanholowaychuk6788 Yea Brooke's initials were pretty clearly different on the two coins, her "b"s are fairly distinctive and actually quite consistent in most signatures I could find online which is perfect for this trick, but her side of the "dupe" coin just looked strange and squiggly. Technicalities though, P&T would've know exactly how it's done either way, and the accuracy of the forgery likely doesn't change the effect for like 99.5% of the audience. It was still performed flawlessly, insane dexterity and super clean moves. Amazing honestly.

Jeffery, It is a really good work, amazing stand up coin routine, smooth, making the classic into a modern pace and handling, breaking the usual coin norm that got minimal interaction with audience. You will be the top coin magician in the industry in no time , also seeing your coin work had evaluated so much. This is like a 2.0 version from what I seen 4,5 years ago. I love watching these Magicians come up with their own Signature Magic tricks. We always see the basic ones a lot but too see unique ones that mind blows you is so awesome!!! Dear JW, you are my new favourite coin magician. That was REALLY magical. The cleanness and impossibility was just beautiful, really beautiful. The closest I’ve ever seen to this was a guy called Sylvester the Jester who was damn good at moving things from one hand to another, but he never made it feel as magical as you just did. This is one of those routines that I’d pay a thousand pounds to be able to add to my own act, and yet something tells me this is gonna take YEARS of practise and my slights are terrible. I doubt this is dependant on just gimmicks, I almost wish it was so I’d have a better hope of doing it myself. A truly truly incredible routine. Thank you so much for making it.

I thought I had an idea of how some of it was done, then the jacket was taken off, proving me wrong... So all I have left is knowing that whenever he put his hand into his pocket he was obviously loading or dropping something, but then nothing. It wa s so cleanly done, that I have no idea what went on.

Something is wrong. At the beginning at the close up shots you see the sharpy in his pocket on the jacket (after signing the coin). Camera zooms out and no sharpy anymore. This happens 2-3 times. Hmmmm fool us team editing.... Also he signs the coin on the closed box. Next shot the box is open... hmmmm

He signs the coin with his own initial because he has 2 coins signed with his initial and on the switch from one hand to the other he only shows the side with his initial on it, this is the trick; that only one side of the coin is shown at one time. when he asks brooke to confirm it's the coin, there are times when he lets her hold it (the coin with both initials), and other times when he does not (the coin with only his initial).

Seems a bit obvious to me. Sleight of hand aside, having his own "signature" on the coin allowed him to have as many other coins as he wanted, as long as he only showed that side of it. The only coin that needed Brooke's was the one he'd demonstrate was the "real" one by showing that instead of his side. No?

@@goffe2282 When I got to meet Penn after one of their shows, I said that to him. I said I liked the show and I was concerned after watching enough of it that I'd gotten a grasp on the fundamentals of tricks and that it would make it harder to be entertained -- but instead I knew how all the basics works so if I got to see an act that blew me away even though I knew how some things were done, that just made it more magical because they were able to fool me even though I was more informed than before.

It's common in TV to re-shoot some parts to get extra angles. Rather than paying for enough camera crews to shoot any angle you may want, it's cheaper to have a smaller crew re-do a few extra shots after the main shoot. It doesn't mean the editing is doing the magic, it's just how TV is made these days.
