I am so glad I found you on YT. Your online courses the Triple A method, breathing for Singing using the appogio method and the High Note boot camp have made a tremendous difference in my singing. Thank you for your work.

Super helpful, this one "feels good" on the cords. Been trying out doing a warm up, playing/singing for a bit, break, then another warm up or "technical" vid. Great results so far, kind of helps "realign". Thanks again Jeff.

Thanks again Jeff! I've been doing your baritone videos everyday on my drive to work every morning the last week and have noticed an improvement already! Is it true you should only practice 20 minutes a day? I've been doing one warm up video in the morning and another video after work, so 40 minutes a day and I'm noticing my voice sounding better and better with my original songs and it doesn't feel like it's too much or straining. I just keep hearing this 20 minutes a day only from other instructors online.

Hello! First of all - be careful if you're singing and driving! I've never heard that one should only practice for twenty minutes a day. Maybe only twenty minutes or so of technique, and then move on to your songs. I also will recommend that vocalists new to registration events practice shouldn't work on the high range technique for more than a few minutes to start, only to make sure that the technique is done properly and when fresh. Glad to hear that the warm ups are serving you well! Keep me up to date! Jeff

Hi Jeff. I was wondering why “I” is never practiced as a vowel sound?
@JeffRolka
@JeffRolka 2 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid that without context I don't know what sound "I" is. That being said, in vocalizations we primarily stick to the five cardinal vowels /i/ (as in 'tree') /e/ (chaos) /a/ (father) /o/ (no) /u/ (you) Interstitial vowels are covered on a case by case basis as are diphthongs and other vocalizations. I hope that helps! Jeff

Should all baritones be able to sing all the lows in these exercises comfortably?
@JeffRolka
@JeffRolka Жыл бұрын
No, there are a variety of 'baritones' and my baritone videos cover all the range that they typically have. If it's ever too low or too high, just switch the to the lip trill for those exercises or lay out until it returns to a better key.
