Lloyd Haynes as Pete Dixon in Room 222 was one of my important role models growing up. What a great show!

It would be a blast to go back to 1969 for a few months.

So many wonderful stars that I haven't thought about in quite some time. I think I miss Bill Bixby the most. Every show he was in was always good and worth watching. Hugely sad that he died so young.

The first clip, The Music Scene, ended paused on Peter Bonerz and the last few notes sounded like The Bob Newhart Show considering he played Jerry the orthodontist.

Not Peter Bonerz. It was another young guy with curly dark hair who was in the comedy troup on Music Scene which did include Howard Hesseman when he went by another name plus Lilly Tomlin before Laugh-In.

The Addrisi Brothers sang the jingle. They had a couple of minor hits in the 1970s and they sang the theme from the 1970-71 ABC sitcom "Nanny and the Professor."

Room 222. A TV show "about something". Michael Callen was a good actor. Good dancer, too.

By any chance, do you have the CBS Fall Preview for the 1973-1974 season? They pulled out all the stops on that one.

Meanwhile, William Schallert's (the narrator's) next big project after the Patty Duke Show would premiere that September; an advert for Promise™ margarine.

You mean 1969-1970 for the title of this video.

I'd love to catch some eps of Monte Markham in the Mr Deeds series. I don't remember it at all.
