Those are my favorites chords and voicings as well!!!! People think I have a large vocabulary I really don’t I just know how to color my chords and being a writer/producer I understand placement and timing!!!

Recently discovered your videos. Very easy to understand and follow. Love the way you explain your voicing, especially recognising familiar shapes with lower and upper chord structure.

Given that both grand and electric pianos are common in the genres you're engaging with, would you lean on different voicings for the different timbres of the instruments?
@JeffSchneiderMusic3 жыл бұрын
That's a great question! Yes, electric pianos have a little more density to their sound, so I tend to spread things out a bit more and am careful with too many clusters in the lower register.

Great to see a lesson on grace notes....i think they are the vibe...youve mentioned 6 to the 7 and 9 to the 1...anyother cool ones? Sometimes the #11 to the third can be cool

4:22-6:22 while you’re talking about the fully diminished harmony, o7 should have bb7 written instead of b7, right? Either way, great stuff as always.
@mikefoo68422 жыл бұрын
The notes shown is a full diminished which is a bb7 - a minor 3rd apart everywhere.

Can anyone share their routine for memorizing voicings across the different scales? That 13b9 still takes me awhile in most keys

Hi Jeff! I have a question about Sick Chords vol. 1. It says it comes with over 100 chords... But does that mean transposed to all 12 keys??? Or are you trying to say it comes with over 100 + chords in all 12 keys? Thank you and Yahweh bless!

I have an 2018 copy of Sick Chords does the bundle have a updated version?

Moim skromnym zdaniem złe oznaczenie septymy. 7 oznacza septymę małą.
