The lesson he needs to take from this game is that he should have had an attacking starting 11 and go for a 2-0 lead, then protect it. His pre match comment that he wanted Cerny for later in the match when the pace dropped I thought was unfathomable. Start best attacking 11 , win the game outright in my book then take off if tired forwards and replace with midfield /defenders. Didn't deserve the sending off but I think he got the game back to front . Only my opinion. Onward.....

It came together when Lennon imploded, covid and no fan pressure mentally to perform under in a weird time. Luckily for us it stopped the 10, and also some players peaked like Tav and Goldson. It gave us a false sense of where we were and with rose tinted glasses people pine for that. It was a right good time to beat them but between that and not building on it under the board we messed up. Then the Euro run happened, and it was good, but we didn't half carry some luck as well as some good displays. Gio took a peak Gerrard team and knew how to set up for Euro games. In the league, Gio started implementing his own style and tactical changes after that final, in the following season and between that and the Ross Wilson signings it came undone. We are still paying for that now, along with Beale and the boards financial mismanagement and bad decisions on appointments. Clement is just another bad decision for me, by an inept board. What proved that was that extension. They announce a financial blackhole and then go, here have an extension. They should let a manager prove himself by results and trophies then give an extension. It's all a bit circus with this board of clowns.

The ref had it out for Rangers tonight and was looking to tip the scales, you can see that in the red card and also in some other decisions throughout the game....I think I know why but I'm not going to say it. Jefte hadn't put in any bad challenges to warrant him being subbed off at half time and the ref shouldn't be looking to send players off in the first place. That said I can see your point that maybe if you identify the ref has it out for you then you make the sub but in that scenario are we even playing football if that's the case. The ref needs to be investigated and heavily punished for his performance.

I am glad Rangers are not running up the bills on players - never again should we be demoted, even if it means we are always #2 in Scotland. The referee was utterly biased and terrible. He fell for every fake injury played out by the Dynamo players of which there were so many, I lost count. Every touch resulted in one of their players rolling about in agony, only to jump up a minute later and run about like a spring chicken. It was these antics that ultimately resulted in the disgraceful red card. I would like to be positive about Kyiv and they have a good team, but the cheating, diving, dropping dead and demanding cards from their players let them down badly.
