ALT EFF was established based on a need to bring people together through the arts; to raise awareness about issues that surround the climate justice movement and to practice global resilience in the face of a crisis that threatens to divide and conquer. The official festival trailer makes a bold statement about the cinematic prowess of their 2021 program. ALT EFF’s program is distinguished by high-quality cinema, created [and curated] with dedication despite the challenges put forth by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The partnership between Jehan Numa and ALT EFF represents the similarity in synergy between us. Aly will also come on board for a live event on sustainable tourism, called ‘Don’t be that Tourist’, in association with RARE India. Along with Aly, Shoba Mohan from RARE India will moderate the event, as owners from The Sarai, Jamtara, and Svasara lodge will provide unique insight into the tourism industry. The event will take place on the 13th of October from 7-8:30 pm.
The All Living Things Environmental Film Festival will celebrate another year of groundbreaking films and virtual storytelling, with their second edition in 2021, set to take place between October 9th and 17th.
