The fish room recently received a huge upgrade. I installed a central air system using a 1” PVC closed loop. The new air pump is a Jehmco LPH80. Literally just got off the Phone with Jean at Jehmco 5 minutes ago ordering this exact same pump! Hope its as good as you're saying it is. I was torn between this pump and one of Jehmcos equivalent sized diaphragm pumps which was $100.00 with the same LPH. Ended up taking the plunge and ordering this one. They're not $289.00 anymore though, they're now $325.00 = OUCH!!!!!!!!!! Hope I made the right decision!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see the new pump working well and quietly, crazy to see all the old pumps it replaced all lined up! Great foresight to add extra outlines from the beginning for future breeder boxes etc and have a contingency plan in place since now everything relying on the one pump.

Now that is what I call an Air Pump! That thing is a Beast! I just bought One Chinese Air Pump Three Weeks ago Six outlet but after seeing that monster air pump, I am now contemplating on replacing the one I recently got. Congratulations. Hi, Great channel, was wondering how many tanks/sponges a pump like that will operate? I’m putting a tank wall in using maten filters. Likely 15 x 2ft tanks plus 2 x 3 or 4ft tanks. Also has Jehmco changed names ? Because I can’t find their company site. Regards Duzzy🇦🇺

Hey Tom thanks for the great video! Quick question for you how many tanks larger then 20 inches is this new piston pump running. Now that it's been running for a couple of years any maintenance yet? and noise level now? Thanks I have been seriously thinking of a small blower for multiple tanks for another lage expansion of the fish room. Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated Thanks Tom 😊

Jhemco´s web site says that model can run 60-80 outlets... are you agree with that info according your case?

I have 56 drops currently running and the pump is just about at its max. It’s relative to tank size and depth. 80 drop lines? Maybe if they’re all shallow 10 gallon tanks.

I work in a shop and we're looking to improve on a really old system, would this run 70 stones comfortably? Or would I need stronger?

Depends on how deep the tanks are. To be honest, this pump struggled with 55-60 drops. This pump is now my back up and I’m using an AP-100 as my main pump.

Thanks for the help most are a foot deep nothing to mad a few bigger ones on the line aswell though, I'd rather have the extra wiggle room and leave room for expansion, will look into the 100 definitely 👍

how much does it pump? i have 4 55's 6 20L 2 20H and then in other room a 29 20 10 and 5 .. would it be worth buying one i have a Chinese pump like you had but i dont know what model number or anything

Your best bet it to call John at Jehmco. He will advise on the appropriate sized Jehmco pump based on your needs. I have 26 tanks and 56 drop lines currently running off this pump.

@@TMAquatics TY... id love to buy a pump but i should get the delivery system set up right now im a mess a 8 port mainifold 2 ports go out to a 8 way gang valve and from there goes to filters so most everything is run of airline tube running behind all the tanks - id like to go with a 8 12 and 18 port mainforlds and connect them together in a loop

Yes, some use 3/4” ID, but I don’t recommend anything smaller.
