My sister didn't speak to me for almost 20 years and I didn't know why. I wish I had known about their shunning policy in the early years. As soon as I found out, I went and told her that if another witness ever came to my door again, that I would tell them that I knew about their policy and I was shunning them first. I also told her that that wasn't biblical and that Jesus said to love thy enemies and pray for them.Oh if only I could get those years back that I wasted while under the influence of the watchtower . I told a friend of mine in 2019 based on what had happened up till then, that I seriously thought the GB had been infiltrated. He was astounded I could even say that and was indignant I would even suggest such a thing. Several Things as a former Elder who disassociated: 1. Spot on; these changes were made in light of the gov’t threatening their $$. None of this is altruistic or Bible based. 2. A lot of legal terms were used, particularly the word “may” & phrase “Bible trained conscience.” We all know WT trains their members’ consciences. WT, from a legal sense, have been trying to disassociate itself from any culpability that may arise from individual congregations. They’ve been doing this since they changed how appointments of Elders took/take place: -First it was by a vote -Then it was by Holy Spirit from HQ after recommendation -Now it’s strictly upon fellow Elders & a rubber stamp from the C.O Why the change? B/c when CSA matters involving appointed men became more in light, the organization had to distance itself from such matters, & then change took place in our instruction manuals to become more transparent in CSA matters 3. It’s a known fact the WTBTS is a business, & that old business model wasn’t working. They have a P.R firm giving them tips to radicalize their policy that will discourage some, while appealing to the younger individuals. (The future & bloodline of this organization). They’ll transition to a quasi form of mainstream Christianity, while continuing to deceive. They’ll talk about Jesus more, while directing their followers to listen to them b/c it’ll be like listening to Jesus, & they’ll make more staunch beliefs into “conscience matters.” 4. They’ve already set their followers up for this, telling them that they serve a progressive God, the light gets brighter, & obedience is required even if it doesn’t make sense 5. Other sectarian like religions have done this before WT, namely The Church of Scientology & LDS Church, dang near to a tee. The sad part is, majority of their doctrines were man-made, & have led to more harm than good, whether that’s by unnecessary imprisonments, persecutions, or worst yet lost of life. However, per them there’s nothing to be embarrassed by or an apology required. Smh

In the way back times Mathew 24:14 we were told that the people cooling off would be because of their own lawless behavior they would be cooling off. Hi Justin, it's very much like any business that's failing, first you change the management, then you employ some one with business skills to look at your organisation, they would then find where your business is heading and advice them to change their direction, this doesn't happen overnight, the organisation as been planning this for years, and yes I agree with you Tony Morris would have strongly opposed this,😅 hence changing of management. Great news being a Dad! My prediction is the complete sale of all Kingdom halls. The early Christians met in homes. With today's technology they can use zoom combining this with the old group study like arrangement. Assembly halls may be retained so the members can touch base a few times in the year. One thing that people are missing with this, if you listen carefully to the language used, is that they are attempting to almost eliminate disfellowshipping except for the ones who just won't say they're sorry in the 2 or more judicial meetings. Even those who are df'd get a visit in 3 months! So it won't be a 1 year minimum anymore for letting someone who wants to come back to return. Mark my words, disfellowshipping will become a rare occurance. They are caving to pressure. It's so sad for those like myself were brutalized in those judicial meetings and kicked out and forgotten. On your theory about the governing body, not being the top layer of the watchtower organization, Mike and Kim did a video a while back ago on this very subject. I believe their theory was that there are senior officers within the watchtower organization, such as a president above the governing body. as you may well know the term “governing body” is a corporation term. And in the business world, the governing body are not really the ones in charge, but more a spokesman for a corporation.

I believe GB would live nothing better than to jettison the blood stance but they've painted themselves into a legal straight jacket. If they "New Light " the blood stance, they risk being sued in class action law suits costing millions. It’s weird . I was df more than once and suffered with addiction and all that it ensues , a lot of financial hardship and difficult situations but as long as I was trying to go to meetings and wanting to come back my parents helped me financially when I was in trouble . After I disassociated on waking up the help stopped . I ended up homeless, life is hard . When you are towing the line they love you and help you , when they don’t I am not their son anymore

When they tell authorities they do not baptise children? 😮 must be a typo! United States 2023 District Convention a 5 year old little girl was baptised the father an Elder acting all proud showing off! What does this tell us about the GB'S view of children when they in their infinite spiritual wisdom call a 5 year old an adult? Am I the only one questioning this incompetent selfish thinking? Or was Jesus who was a perfect human baptised at 5 years of age? Excuse the Pure Wirship, and the Live Forever books tell us they follow Jesus example on baptism! Thank you & great informative stuff! JW rules have changed so much...think to get more immigrants in group. Maybe?? I heard Europe and African JW members leaving in droves. I heard now JW allow can smoke cigs, marry who want, report CSA now, enhance grooming, stop blood issue , celebrate own birthdays, college is A ok now, and lessen shunning if person comes to meetings, and lessen door to door preaching.. But I think some JW KH elders will not go with the new changes. In 10 years going to change name and put videos online since building 2 new video studios. Notice less talk of Armaggedon too now per my JW relatives

Awesome video, well done. I had a funny thought when you were talking about the slacks, no jacket an tie rule change, you being an ex JW I was trying to imagine you with a suit and tie..ha ha 😅.. I wonder if they will one day change the 144,000 doctrine and start letting anyone take of the bread and wine at their memorial..and the blood doctrine,,ugh!😢😮 that one is terrible many have died needlessly because of that..
