Wow 😮I was a born in JW. Woke up left and got my husband out during Covid. I got 5 secular degrees before I left. I finally left in 2015. We married when I was 25, and he was 28. I just did not like the culture in JW. So much hate and not Love. I had four kids and all are out.

You guys are doing such a great job! I was born in the Org. In the late 50s. I saw how the Witnesses treated my aunt at my grandma's funeral. Her 5 year old daughter was being molested by her husband in the late 70s. She was a regular full time pioneer. She reported this to the elders and they refused to believe her. She was so upset, she wrote a letter asking to be disassociated. They df'd her. I later started fading. I took my 5 year old daughter with me to the Sunday meeting. The Watchtower article was "You will know them by their love". I took a highlighter. Highlighted the heading, circled it, laid it on the seat, leaving it. Grabbed my daughter in the middle of the meeting and left and never went back.

Prior to joining the Witnesses I didn’t really know hate. I had my likes and dislikes, but not hate. All that I heard about with the Witnesses was that we had to have a hate for most things. There was no middle ground. Even for people and things that I had very little personal knowledge I was told that we had to have hate as that is what Witnesses must have. They talk about love, but hate prevails. Thank goodness that is all behind me.

After being away for over a decade and going back to check out some meetings I noticed most of the talks are about how other religions are bad/wrong and how we should reject “the world”. I have kids and almost cringed listening and worried what they thought. It’s like, if you’re so much better than the other religions, teach me about why you’re better. I’m not learning anything just hearing how bad everyone else supposedly is. You don’t realize how bad it sounds when you’re hearing it your whole life since childhood.

I could say SO MUCH…but to summarize, I was born in, I’m 31 now…my mom told me I would cry every time I came in as a baby…I realized at age 19-20 from my boyfriend at the time who came with us to a convention (who wasn’t approved of by my father and stepmom) from a simple question that made me really think…he asked “if this is a Bible, why doesn’t it say Bible on it”…that was the start of my journey…even though I ALWAYS had a feeling it wasn’t right…I remembered asking my dad (around age 10) why is it only jehovahs witnesses that will make it in the end? even if someone reads their Bible daily and practices everything they can, just like us, they won’t make it just because they’re not a Jehovah’s Witness?…he didn’t have an answer for me…also him and my stepmom were shunned at one point…it was traumatizing..it never made sense how their longtime friends could do that to them for 1 mistake and also to us as his children…even though I’m thankful I never practiced and gotten used to the pagan holidays, I always knew SOMETHING was wrong with JWs…

Here is something you won't learn at Watchtower...this will never be "new light." Christ has set us free from religious superstition. "So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths," Col.2:16 This includes birthdays and cake, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving... And all the festive food and drink that accompany. Freedom in Christ. Bondage in Watchtower.

Thot I 'd try again but statement added about giving society dibs that thru them I give Sovereign worship to them as well.... that was Las straw Didn't like the cliques. Didn't like how scriptures were used for their twisted talk interpretations At 15 Asked how can mere man know when the end would come when Jesus stated even He didn't know? That was it for me. I want to be around humble, kind people who have a healthy fear of Jehovah.

I remember my mom saying someone they studied with asked the same question and another sister told her yes they’ll be destroyed if they’re not JW and the lady stopped studying. My mom wasn’t perfect but even she didn’t agree with that and said many times JWs are NOT the only ones that will be saved. I’ve always felt that too. I think there’s good and bad in every church and religion including JWs. If there’s saving to be done, I think it’s going to be tied to that individual, their heart condition and good or bad works throughout their life and not what religious group they claim. I’ve met more loving “worldly” people than JWs in my lifetime.

Jehovah's witnesses don't celebrate Christmas and Easter because these practices come from pagan nations. However they celebrate weddings.wedding showers and baby showers. All of these also come from pagan customs.Their leaders pick and choose what they can and cannot do and then change their minds as the years go by.

There was a “pioneer sister” who every few months used to comment in the watchtower about her friend saying she didn’t care if it’s the truth or not it’s the best life. She made the same comment at least 3 times a year. The motive that drive a lot of JWs are the social relationships not belief in their teachings. That’s why shunning is so important to the org they are fully aware that if those social relationships were preserved only 20% of JWs would be left. So many great points in this fantastic interview!

I loved Jared's closing remarks about making a new life after JW. There ARE a lot of wonderful people in the world. I was pimo all my life, but started extracating myself in my 20s and I made wonderful, lifelong friends during that time. Primarily I really started making friends at work and then went from there, although I always got along well with "worldly" people. In my mid to late 30s, I decided that I wanted to explore the possibility of having a specific faith, based on my own choices. I started going to church (and I am a much happier person now) and then I really learned how many lies I was told about "false religion" or the people that attend other religious services. Now I'm almost 50 and I'm very comfortable with who I am as a person. I will say that people I grew up with that are just now coming out I often see go from one extreme to the next and its understandable but try not to do that, like Jared said. I recently had contact with a newly out of the organization person who was really trying to push her newfound life choices on me, which I've already been through some of those choices and have moved on from them, I told her "You can take the girl out of the JW......." It was hard for me too because she had previously been very judgemental toward me, but now that SHE'S figured out it's a cult, it's officially ok to be out, and she blasts her family on social media for shunning her. If I'm being honest, I am really happy she's out, but I struggle to be sympathetic to the shunning situation.

Fabulous video I love seeing families get out together 💗 I have 3kids still in they think I am but recently told my oldest boy who I thought May listen but he told the other two. I’m right in the thick of it today with an elder a family friend the kids have told him and I’m in the middle of a conversation with him now about csa. Great and timely advise to not bombard so I’m sticking with this one subject. The elder wanted me to meet up but with another brother I just said no I’m happy to chat with him that’s it. I was getting riled up, he has just threatened me with the loss of support from family and friends. It has taken me 3 years since my breakdown to get the courage to say anything and now I face being shunned but I knew that could and most likely would happen and it is. My daughter is sick with the stress of losing her mum I have reassured my kids that I still love and trust Jehovah ( 1John 4:8 god is love 💗 in my mind but their language is Jehovah so I use that name) just not men. I leave in two weeks I have my absolute dream job travelling around australia in my small camper van working in mental health with art for a year. My 1st stop was my daughter ( a 23hr drive) but she now doesn’t want me to come down 😢 I’ve prepared myself for this since I started waking up 10 years ago it’s only the last 3 years I’m truly awake almost a Pomo. This trip is all about healing I will be learning so much about healing myself and others id love to share my journey one day as my coworker and I will be recording journaling this journey. Thanks to your channel and many others for all your hard work 🫶🏼✌🏼💫💗 4 healing.h.arts keep an eye out for us 💗

I couldn't handle it anymore and used the pandemic to do it. I have been out for two years again but my wife and kids remain very active. I cannot discuss anything around them about it. Clark Grayhame Even when my mother-in-law forced me to study to keep the family peace, she was telling me about a Sister, just about once a month that she knew, or who was in another congregation who had a nervous breakdown. I thought "What kind of a cockamamie group is this?" Even the first talk I didn't think this was group was that intelligent. Even the so called Elder businessmen. They would have immediately firgured out that Watchtower was a real estate free money, free labor, free cleaning and landscape maintenance business just using the "rank and file" as slaves.

Clark Grayhame a bit of trivia. I was researching the musical group "The 5th Dimension" and one of their singers, Ron Townsend, it said became a Jehovah's Witness because his wife was one, and he did it to keep the family peace. He died of kidney failure in Las Vegas Nevada, which suggests to keep his mind, he may have drank the whole time.

"This is actually huge because if Watchtower does indeed end the shunning policy in Norway, effective 2023. The question will be what about other countries with JWs around the world and it's impact? How can an organization have one set of policy in one country and another set of policy in another? This does not seem very harmonious per JWs claim of a harmonious world wide organization. Will Watchtower produce future alternative publications, talks and lessons in reference of shunning for Norway exclusive to the territory? If other countries are to keep the shunning policy. How will Watchtower move forward to hide Watchtower's comply with Norway's legislation? Can this spark the beginning of the end for Watchtower as they may have to globally change their shunning policy? Lastly, I detect inevitable New Light Coming! And I told him all the great things that have been learning from Lady Cee & JT, concerning the truth behind the truth. He is not speaking to me now, but I don't care. The Kingdom Hall teaches about Babylon the Great, World Empire of false religion, but that's what the Kingdom Hall represent, is Babylon the great world Empire of false religion. It’s really encouraging to hear these accounts. It makes you realize that you are not alone which is what JW want you to feel. Like you are not only an outcast because you left but they want you to feel like you don’t belong to the world either in the hope that you go back to the religion because you feel that you have nowhere else to go. I heard that from witnesses all the time and it is sad. They say, “ Where else am I going to go?”

JVM!341 That's exactly it. Shunning is a diluted term for "gangstalking a person into isolation" so that they may have no choice but to return. It also encompasses recruitment by proxy, to get people to go against you, when they don't announce from the platform, what you have done. It could merely be pointing out discrepancies in their own writing and in old literature.

I'm trans and was raised a JW. I've been out for 7 years (25 now). It crushes me watching my parents continue to be active in something they don't fully support but have been in so long they don't feel like they can leave or turn anywhere else. It also has driven a huge wedge between us. I can't feel happy talking about transitioning and all the progress I've made. I also tend to dress more netral around them too which hasn't been good for my mental health. They can't talk to me about anything non witness related without wincing a bit. It sucks but at least I got a set of parents that are trying a little and didn't do the normal thing of acting like I don't exist

I love hearing how people make their way out! If you want to hear our story, let us know! We’d be happy to tell you!!!! Congratulations on making it out, with your family! I got out with my 2 kids! The kids got me out!!!! Congratulations on your sobriety June! That’s amazing!!! I went with my daughter to AA meetings ! June you look really familiar to me! When my kids and I left, the only ones left were my mother & older & unbaptized older sister. Last thing my mom said to me was, you’re going to die with my kids! I told her that’s fine because we will be together & dead & wont care!!!! They had 42 years!!! I was the 4th generation, my kids the 5th! No more! We stopped the cycle!!!!! Jared, you did to me what my son did to me! He started in about the child sex abuse and my son kept telling that and I told him, stop saying that! They would never do that. That’s what got me. I lost any of the fake friends, I thought were friends. My mother died in 2020 & she shunned and I know her and I knew she wouldn’t listen to any proof I could show her, she was in her early 70’s when I left. My sister was alone, living 5 minutes from my house and she told me to come over & we talked & talked and us sis’s were together again! My mother told my sister when she was dying that she needed to stick with the witnesses, they’ll take care of you!!!! We both laughed at that! She’s lucky she didn’t give in to pressure to get baptized!!! She was 55 so I knew she wasn’t baptized I would check with people. I knew as soon as our mother died, I waited a few months , quarantine was at its peak and no one bothered with her & she has a bad heart problems! The only person who bothered with her. She found out that she was talking to me and gave my sister an ultimatum, if she doesn’t call and tell her service coordinator that she was talking to me, she would have to narc on her. My sister said go right ahead. And she did call an elder!!!! He called my sister and just told her he had a call that we were back together. She said yep she taking care of all my health. The brother said, ok. Don’t forget the congregation! That’s it! That was almost 3 years ago! Oh and I live across the street from the Kingdom Hall . No brothers come by, no sisters trying to find someone to call on, none of them even came by either! I’m not even df’d!!!!!🌺🌺🌺

Tracy Lea Beauty The easiest way to fade, is to move away from the congregation's jurisdiction, see who is at your door, with a camera, and tell any Elders who call "You have the wrong number." And don't tell them you are moving, just be jup and gone. If they say, "Well we had no idea you were moving, say, well you get the picture!"

@@SherylSheryl-b3z I faded over 10 years ago and I still live across from the Kingdom Hall!!!!🤣 I never answer my door. They’ve never even have ever come by. I have a ring cam. I’m just glad I got out after 42 years!!! It will be 11 years since I’ve been to the Kingdom Hall. Both my kids got df’d young and I think they used that as an excuse to stay away. The funny thing is, I always had plans to go back but was just feeling down about my kids being df’d. Then, my best friend, who I would be with in field service almost everyday , never even called me!!! She lived 5 doors down, her husband was the COBE. I’m sure he told her to leave me alone! I’ve never talked to her again and they have since moved! My own mother & sister both shunned me for 8 years until my mother died! I waited a few months and reached out to my sister a few months later! I was able to get her out too! So we are back to being sisters and I’ve showed her the proof of all I learned, she couldn’t believe it, just how I was when I found out!!! My mother told her before she died to “stick with the witnesses, they’ll take care of you” she found out real fast that that wasn’t true!!! She was never baptized so I knew she wasn’t a believer! She was going for our mother but she’s just as happy as I am not going in service or to the Kingdom Hall!!! LOL

@@TracyLeaBeauty Kim and Mike Brooks have followed and tracked Watchtower's Kingdom Hall and assembly hall sales, all over the U.S. and Europe. My family all left together in 2020. We were always a family which tended to be in the "worldly" side, meaning we always did things our way, were sketchy with meeting attendance, dressed flashy, low service hours. All our friends who grew up with us in the cult drank a lot more Kool aid than we did. They leveled up in the cult. All our friends had a variety of elder/ms/pioneer titles in their families, so we skirted around the edges of the clique; our popularity was marginal, but most of our friends seemed to chase the popularity train. These people would come hang out with us in intimate groups, knowing that we were not uberdubs, but they would always say that we were the most genuine people we know. Now we're out and we see them slagging through their lives, grinding away at their monotonous jw life, sticking to it 'cause popularity. It's so good to be free and I wish freedom on them as well. They don't understand that they will not miss the fake friendships that they had when they see it for what it really is.

@heathergriggs4463. You might start with "Honey, do you believe that Jesus is your mediator?" See where that takes you. The Watchtower literature (i.e. Insight on the Scriptures, etc.) says that only the anointed class does. The Bible says that Jesus is the mediator for all men (John 14:6 ; I Tim. 2:5). I've read of a few people where that was their starting place.

Witnesses will be the first ones to hate on people. There's no love for others like Jesus wants us to do. Love your neighbors as you love yourselves. I have learned as a born in that I have no empathy for other people like I should. I do have empathy for Animals. But they never taught hate on animals. I have spoke to my pastor and he said, I have a long road to undo my thinking. I'll be talking about that in my future video/podcast. Good Interview cause I have watched Junes videos. exactly. the witness group in ontario canada was like this. as a new single mother with a cutie 18month girl also biracial i was spied on, with people pretending to be family, following me around . i felt and saw all of this and so was very careful what i said that might alert the elders that i no longer was believing what they said. i saw child abuse and abuse of every kind..domestic violence. bullying from children of elders who believed they had special privilege to do what they wanted. one thing i remember so clearly even now was a woman who came to a meeting having black eyes and battered by a husband who was not a member. she was congratulated for suffering for Jehovah, surrounded by women hugging her and smiling. the male elders walked by without any reaction. my daughter who was 3 by that time and me both turned together to stare with horror i relied on the one true God. i spoke with sarah about abuse and that it was never acceptable and not of God. as a former member of another cult, the worldwide church of God, i was being abused by my husband with our 2 sons as well. this was condoned by the leaders. i began to go against orders to speak to the women of the group about abuse. women were coming to me seeking help and there was none within the cult. the minister tried to shut me down but i refused to back down until there were changes. this was the beginning slowly of critical thinking, i already was standing with more strength at home and this was yet another step toward freedom and truth. i was able to break free from my abusive mother, abusive husband and a cult. my children had been damaged despite all my serious efforts to protect them and teach them truth outside of the lies that we needed to break free from. i chose to fade very carefully without telling other members which prepared me to leave that cult and though i joined another one, my stay there was short, not the 19 years of marriage, 17 years in the first cult and 3 years in the very last one. i am in no religion now but have come to the truth that Jesus taught. i am no longer numb and can see with clarity. be of courage all who are breaking free. i chose to fade also and not allow the elders and members to disfellowship me and continuing to control me, keeping me there. those who had been friendly before.false. were no longer speaking to me except to tell me that my daughter now belonged to satan because of me. this confirmed to me once again the wise choice to leave, but carefully and safely, not only for me but for that little girl. she had been telling me at three years old about the things that i had seen also. i moved from that area but once again the witnesses there were after me. i moved with sarah to another city hours away and still they found us. i was very clear that i would never be in another religion again but was a believer and no longer wanted contact with them. end of that so far. sex abuse was a huge problem. i never left sarah in the care of anyone else inside the group or outside. men were not allowed to come into our lives and so she said to me that she had been safe. the damage is there with our short time with the witnesses, imagine a lifetime of such damage. this is spiritual abuse including every other abuse possible. please stop doubting yourself listen to your intuition and face reality, become a questioner. open your heart and trust not in men but the one true God. carry on...

Just finished watching the new episode of the mandalorian entitled Apostate… 🤣🤣 and because he took his helmet off and showed the real him (face) he now is called apostate. But the mandalorian creed says “This is the way…”. 🤣🤣. A mandalorian does not remove his helmet. So in order for him to be reinstated as a Mandalorian he must complete some impossible task and vow to never remove his helmet again. You wonder if an ExJW is one of the writers for this show. Taking the JW helmet off of someone all at once is NOT the way😂. They have to want to take it off themselves… that IS the way
