Catching up on some older posts and came across your review on your bait choices. A lot of the same baits I like to use. I see you choose the 1.5 which looked like the higher end shelts bait. Think they have a 1 and a size 2 if I remember and they’re excellent baits and great quality

Can you tell me how to remove paint from a lure so that the body is still transparent? I'm looking to strip the paint off of blue prism bombers. It looks like a thin transparent paint. I've tried rubbing alcohol and goo gone.

Do you ever glue the Bill's when they're split or do you think the clear coat holds good enough?

Always glue them... if they're split bad, throw them out. That generally means that the seal is bad all the way down the seam

Where i live in oz i am more likly to be painting for salt water would you still recommend these for the salt ?

Depends on where you're fishing. I follow the morning tide boys religiously and it seems their lures are more tailored to poppers and jerks, so I would amend my overall picks to freshwater. I've seen some pretty decent stuff on Ali Express, but I cannot give my nod of approval if I haven't tested it 🙂
