I think when you hit with that much power and without much spin, you have very little margin. So they can absolutely blow people off the court, but also have matches with huge numbers of unforced errors. Very fun style to watch, that's for sure.

Ostapenko's on-court antics are not helping her. I do not understand why she feels the need to stand there and bark at her team with hand gestures EVEN WHEN SHE'S AHEAD. Her antics make absolutely no sense to me, and in my humble opinion I think she'd have better results if she spent more time focusing on her game instead of wasting time and energy chatting, gesturing, and looking up to her box after every single point. Well done, Maddie! 😃❤

Keys should have won in straight sets. But she's lacking something up there. The way to beat Ostapenko is to make her run from side to side, with the occasional drop shot thrown it. Ostapenko does not like to run. She has great control and power, but only if the ball goes to where she is clearly planted. Ostapenko does look overweight, which is not good for her mobility.
@tennissir198625 күн бұрын
These two play the same style. Win the point on every shot. End the rally as quick as possible.
@TheGreatness-gg1jx24 күн бұрын
Love watching these two beat the hell outta the ball. haha. Madison's going to have to improve that 2nd serve, maybe too late in her career. If she could do more from defense than those slices I think she could turn the tables better. But she's playing well regardless.

@@gilbertarballo I'm seeing the same as you, friend. I'm thinking that her Team might be in negotiations with some Racquet Brands(?). This totally reminds me of Mary Pierce (back in the day). She rarely played with a Sponsored Racquet - due to her constantly breaking the strings & cracking the frames. Mary really was the (brutally) hardest hitter back then - Maddy reminds me of her, especially that devastating Forehand, YEAH?
