Fantastic match! You really see the difference between the two power players. Ostapenko has better lateral movement and is better at the net. Keys has that huge serve, and better reach.

Woah, great play by both and Maddy really kept her head in it. It's not like Penko crumbled at all, Maddy just elevated her game. That match was just all out aggression from both players. Respect to both players. Ostapenko is a friggin Unit, man. Just built like a brick. She probably could win the hammer throw for Latvia in the olympics. She looks short b/c she has a long torso and short legs but she's 5'10". She was movign really well also, got quick off the mark to get short balls. She's deceptively fast for her height and build. Power mover.

I used to think Ostapenko's emotions on court is annoying. But she is the only one who really shows emotions like a human being. All American tennis players are like poker face. They are not human. They have no emotions, no character, just play like cold-blood machines...... In that sense, I enjoy watching and appreciate Ostapenko's naughtiness and funny face........ I wish she could have won the poker face though... she is a good player.
