My social studies teacher showed us the first event, for for 6 minutes we were all like, "What the hell are we watching?" After a few more minutes, we had all gotten our teams, cheering our marbles on, and wanting to see more. He single handedly gave a class of 20+ 8th graders a fixation in marble olympics.

Team Momo, in the PENULTIMATE run of the bobsled event which was held in actual snow in 2018, lost Momomo after he had altitude sickness, and they stopped mid-run. Then, after Mimo came in, things went from bad to worse when Momomomo was knocked out during the rerun. Both of them were unable to race, and Team Momo didn’t have the sufficient members to keep on competing. Luckily, instead of withdrawing, they merged with Team Primary and created Team Momary for the rest of the season.

It does make one wonder if the different colored bobsleds affected the results of the competition. That white bobsled from the chocolatiers seemed almost unnaturally slow.....

@@claytongoodwyn7809 it's more probable that the sleds are the same size and the marbles are slightly different sizes. Usually bigger marbles like Savage Speeders do better at speed events and smaller marbles do worse, but in this particular case, the lack of friction between marbles and sled let the smaller marbles dominate.

people forget the engineering teams. a good sled will help so much. I mean chocolatiers came close to a stop on certain turns, I think their sled was just badly designed and had too much friction. combine that with a subpar teamwork and then you end up last.

Great event! When showing the overall standings at 16:34, can you change the medal color. It shows all of it in white. So for instance, the Speeders, Jumpers, and Momo all have a gold. So it would be nice if the number 1 was in gold. Same for silver medals being silver and bronze being bronze. I’m sure it was like that with previous seasons. Keep up the great work though! Go Gliding Glaciers!

It's a pretty bitter pill to swallow after such an encouraging qualifying campaign, and it shows that we definitely have a lot of things to work on. But honestly, what we need to do now is just put this bad start behind us, #Raisethebar and show why we belong here in the Marble League. You can do it guys, I know you've got it in you.

The sleds are probably all the same size (printed from the same printer), but the marbles themselves are slightly different sizes. Clearly Blackjacks and Momos are smaller so they didn't rub against each other like the Chocolatiers and the Jungle Jumpers.

The Glaciers continue to improve. Now a podium already in the bobsled. Let's continue those improvements. Also jungle Jumpers have been very inconsistent with their finishes thus far. 11th in e1, 1st in e2 and now 15th in e3.
