I remember picking them as my favorite of the 4 new/returning teams a couple years ago in that one showdown.. and they dominated. Then they kinda fell apart and didn't qualify. So glad they made a rebound for this year. I hope the hot streak continues. They don't need snake eyes late in the games.

Wow, Solar Flares are having a great games! The other newer teams are too - really giving the oldies a run for their money. I always feel like marbles should get more than one chance for this event like they would in human jumping. It was still a great competition though, and wonderfully presented as always!

I feel like this event should be either the best of 2 jumps, or do 3 jumps and add the total of the 2 best jumps. It would give us a similar runtime as other events, and I think would be more representative of the competitors’ actual skill rather than relying on getting lucky with one jump.

I think it would be nice to have a longer downhill for the ski jump. It seems like the marbles that have better jumps have a smoother descent, so more time to catch those differences on camera would be an improvement.
