I think this episode really showed how it’s like to be a Thunderbolts fan, so happy to make it to the final, we have a huge lead, bottle it. Still happy with a second place and then the reveal that we are out of title contention anyway. Happiness really is as brief as a flash of lightning. Podium is still on though. #rollingthunder

If paintin black onto the platform, ya gotta do the whole circle worth or else it becomes painful for some of us to see But i think havin just the outline around the whole thing, that doesnt spin i mean, black wud at least make it easy to tell when such a marble is eliminated Tho perhaps a lighter tannish brown coloured platform cud work well, or even just a cream coloured one; so as to make the lighter coloured marbles not quite the same whiteness as the background, without rly bein a colour that wud make other marbles harder to see Tho then again perhaps theres some teams im forgettin who cud be hard to see on both those And a solid black platform wud honestly just make it harder to see the darker ones instd, so its not rly an option that way either

Yes he does, but if you slow it down and watch it frame-by-frame, I do believe Velocity would've still hit the gate structure and stayed in. He certainly would've hit the edge of it, but since he was curving in at the time, I think he just barely would've hit it on the inside, meaning he would've ricocheted back in. It's tough to tell but I think even without that Thunderbolt there, the Speeders still would have won.

I was really starting to think the Speeders were gonna win the championship without winning a single gold medal. I have to commend the Thunderbolts though, excellent collective teamwork in all of their heats; you could really tell they had a well worked-out strategy going into this, which they stuck to in all their matchups. Didnt work against the Speeders' search and destroy tactic though, but only barely. Interesting also the Crazy Cat's Eyes tactic of using a dedicated anchor, and switching on who takes on that energy-intensive role between heats, with green eye taking on the task in the opening heat and then blue eye taking over the role in the quarter final. Seems they completely forgot that strategy in the semi final though, or perhaps there was some miscommunication regarding who it was supposed to be. But with blue eye once again stepping up as anchor in the bronze final, the medal was secured.

Points Standings update after event 14/16 : Standings Start at 17:57 With the gold medal and a massive round 1 collapse from the Bumblebees, Savage Speeders hold a 19 point lead over the hosts headed into the sand rally. The Rojo Rollers are 25 points behind the Speeders and are the last team in title contention for the 2023 Marble League championship. Pinkies (-34), Raspberry Racers (-34), O'Rangers (-38), Team Momo (-41), Crazy Cat's Eyes (-42), Snowballs (-47), Team Galactic (-47), and Mellow Yellow (-50) are all within striking distance of being in title contention. Pinkies and Raspberry Racers need to make up 9 points on the Speeders. O'Rangers need to make up 13 points on the Speeders. Team Momo needs to make up 16 points on the Speeders. Snowballs and Galactic need to make up 22 points on the Speeders. Mellow yellow MUST win and have the Savage Speeders finish dead last in the Sand Rally. Midnight Wisps (-51), Team Plasma (-58), Thunderbolts (-59), Shining Swarm (-73), and Gliding Glaciers (-74) are all eliminated from title contention. HOWEVER, they can still make the top 3 podium with some help.

My favourite moment was during the Bronze match, During Blue Eye's Victory Dance. You can actually see them trying to pull a member Team Momo back onto the Disc to dance with them and the MoMember waving them off, reminding them that coming back on would put them back in the Running. That was too cool. There use to be a fun house in San Francisco that had a spinner platter like this that you sat on. A bunch of people would sit on it and then it would start spinning faster and faster until people started flying off. It was really fun. This reminds me a lot of it.

love this event, the various strategies are very interesting to watch play out! I hope it becomes a mainstay, as I'd love to see how different strats and counters develop. spoilers hell ye team momo!!! Keeping up the momomentum! Its so incredible watching them turn this around in the second half of the games, its a low chance for an overall podium finish, but I'll still be cheering for their strong finish regardless.

Spoilers: I think this was the dagger in the heart for the bumblebees vs. the savage speeders. They did incredibly well for this entire tournament though, no real need to feel down.

It's still not over, we saw what the orangers did in 2017 and the savage speeders in 2020, the savage speeders gotta still keep going, since the bumblebees are very fierce when it comes to the last events, there's a reason why they're my second team, honestly I'm tired of just the same champion, I want an underdog story like last season, and the host curse broken once and for all, this is the only moment we will ever see it happening, but you never know
