One of my favorite of Jello's collaborative efforts has always been the two albums with The Melvins, and this show proves it, especially the opening song, one of the best versions of Bleed For Me I've ever heard. With every release Jello puts out, whether it's a collaboration with an existing band or members of existing bands (LARD, Jello/DOA, Jello/No Means No) or with his new band, The Guantanamo School Of Medicine, he just keeps going from strength to strength, all killer material, no filler in sight. And the other members of DK's have released how much new material since kicking him out of the band? That's right, jack shit. Not hard to see who was writing most, if not all, the material in that band. It's too bad, because I loved DK's, but without Jello, they're nothing. One can only hope Jello keeps it coming, cause I know I'll be listening, knowing that it'll be great. There's only a few of the original US punk rock movement still banging out new stuff....Keith Morris/OFF!, The FreeZe, The Melvins, Redd Kross, Henry Rollins, and Jello are the first to come to my mind, cause they're all great in their own ways. True artists, one and all.

I saw this show in Seattle . Seeing Adam Jones on a small set in a small club was insane . I really really wish Jello and the Melvin’s would do another show or an album . This is one of my favorite bands . I’d love to see them live again . Thank you who ever posted this video . Bringing back great memories. I think i had a broken leg at the time of this tour . Maybe the memory has faded a tad .

Man, I absolutely love the Jelvins. I think of Jello's non-DK projects (of which I love most of them) this one was the best. The riffs are killer, the sound is big, and Jello is bringing his a-game!

(lol) A fun and rocking 50th birthday bash for the Punk legend. One of the best collaborations, a musical match made in heaven. Biafra no longer moves around like his younger years but he still has the pipes and he can still carry a show ( and stagedive!, although he should have kept his shirt on). The Melvins are probably the only band that can merge Punk, Grunge and Metal into one powerhouse mix. Whew, those guitars and that energy! Fucking fantastic music.
