I’m getting ready to start chemo and, having had close family members go through similar treatments, these might be good for cancer patients or anyone on meds where eating and drinking is affected by nausea/vomiting. I’ll definitely be trying these out. Thanks for the video!!!

I'm a survivor myself, so I can attest to the dry mouth and mouth sores. These are similar to Jello, which can help as well, although these are more portable if you're taking them to chemo treatments. Also think about getting protein drinks like Ensure and things with electrolytes like some of the sports drinks (just rinse your mouth out a lot with plain water after drinking them, so you don't end up with cavities). Oh, you don't have to have dementia. It's just a good way to get some hydration!

Really cool idea! So is the quantity in one of those peel back cups equal to an 8oz cup of water?

Thanks for your question. The answer is no, one drop is not equal to 8 oz of water. 1 tray of jelly drops contains 10 oz of water (according to their website). 1 tray has 24 drops. The idea is that these are not to replace all water for someone, they are meant to supplement when someone simply is not drinking enough. Or has trouble drinking. I hope that answered your question.

It sounds wonderful but the slippery might be very hard for people that can't hold on to them. Bummer.

I will agree that they are slippery. Maybe they'd be easier to hold onto if someone dries them on a paper towel first? Not sure, I didn't try that... Thanks for watching! :)
