Matt Gallagher doesn’t seem like it’s camera scroll speed. in 4:38 - 4:42, camera barely moves but as mario accelerates, so does the music. but yeah, it’s the same thing since the camera moves as fast as mario does when he’s in the middle of it. edit: also, you can see the same in the ending screen. camera is still but music gets faster

I think it’s to do with the environment. When everything is normal, the music is normal but when the jelly starts going crazy the music gets distorted. That’s what it looks like to me anyways :)

I tried the browser version and it seems to have a lot of issues. You don't collide with anything like nothing is there except you, and the jelly physics seem to pull Mario into a compact ball, making it impossible to move as you simply sink to the bottom of the screen, unable to stretch yourself back out. The version in the video looks really fun and hope it's made playable sometime.
