I had to shift and listen to Jellys speech and bro I instantly started crying. I’ve been in kidney failure for almost 10 years and I get my transplant next Thursday December 14, and I have been so scared of committing to the surgery and his speech just confirmed for me, what’s in front of you is so much better than what’s behind you. Thanks Jelly. And thank you Theo for all the laughs throughout the years. Y’all deserve yalls flowers fr

You don't need to go through it alone. Know you are bigger than your addiction, and you are loved. You are not defined by it, and it doesn't have to be your identity. Tommorow can be today, and that a journey begins with a single step isn't just a cliche. It's never to late, admitting you have a problem, is the first step. Please love yourself, no matter what you decide. I'm routing for you! ❤🇨🇦

He said the honies was the start of the downfall😂😂 anyway.. he is an older feller, he said he had to get out before they took all he had. Russel Hicks. He's from here where we live. He moved out there in the 70s and he said Nashville ain't nothing but fake people and talentless greedy folk.

My sister is a victim of the opioid crisis in America. Thankfully she is 6 years sober. I have seen how a poor family life (as our mother struggled with drug dependency more while her and her twin were young) and the “crisis” drew people to OxyContin (thanks you pieces of crap at Purdue Pharma), then straight to heroin. 3x she has gotten sober. And thank the Lord she still is. Thank u all for talking about your drug abuse, but mostly your sobriety. She LOVES Jelly Roll for his music and influence!❤

Theo! I got sober in Nashville in 2020 and my whole story around that is WILD. It was absolutely ridiculous and an adventure and a hell of a story. I’m still sober today and work in the treatment field, there’s a special place in my heart for music city and for your honesty and candor!!

Jelly roll is the most amazing artist around. I started listening to him before he got HUGE, his rap is beyond amazing. His lyrics and music are truly therapeutic. I’ve never found an artist where ANY mood I’m in, or feeling I have, I can find a song to fit that mood. I’ve always had music as my therapy, sad songs when I’m depressed, hype songs when I’m in a hype mood, etc. and jelly has songs for all that. He is the only music I listen to now. I have over 130 of his songs on a playlist, and there’s still so many more I have missed I’m sure! As an addict in recovery, someone who’s been to the bottom, his music hits me right in the heart. ❤❤

Jelly Roll, I hope he keeps rising. Sharing the Build a Bear analogy while on top, shows what an authentic person and artist he is. Weirdly he reminds me of Lady Gaga, doing their own thing and on their terms. ❤ Love Theo!

1:43:45 was a beautiful moment between Jelly and Theo. Theo even dropped tears hearing him tell his story... that's how you know how powerful it was for the room. Theo slapping him on the leg at the end of it really shows how much he cares about Jelly as well. We should all strive to have friends like Theo and Jelly.
