Seeing jelly cry in this in the memory of his dad really struck me and hit me in the heart. I lost my dad around the same time jelly did and I was ready to end it and his music has saved my life. I was with a gun to my head and one of his songs came on and I just started crying and couldn't go through with it. I just hope one day I can thank him personally for saving my life.

Without the lyrics of that song slipping through the cracks of the depression running rampant through this mans mind, something else would’ve ran through it. I can honestly say Chester Bennington, Morgan Wallen, Kolby Cooper, Ryan Upchurch, and Jason Aldean have saved my life on multiple occasions. They have heavy impact, I hope you find an artist or something that can affect your life that much, it truly is an incredible feeling.

I recently found your podcast and I’m enjoying it. I love the fact of how jelly says that it’s accepted to listen to all genres. Growing up with my mom she played everything from Red Hot Chili Peppers to Clint black to outkast. It was also great growing up with my grandparents growing up listening to chubby checkers to Hank sr. It’s awesome how music is because music is an amazing way to show how you feel and to change how you feel. I’ve been around music since I was 5. Play multiple instruments. On 1 hand it was playing and singing in church every time the doors were open with my grandparents. And on the other hand it was blasting drums to everything from Metallica to Warren G and the Kentucky Headhunters with my stepdad. Music is the 1 thing in this world that has the power to bring this world together. I love seeing artists that ain’t afraid to merge different genres. In my eyes, there’s only 2 genres of music.
